At first I was so jealous of this blog that I couldn’t look at it for too long, but I have found myself going back to it time and time again. You see, ProBlogger is a blog that helps bloggers like to me ‘monetize’ their blogs (make income from them). Basically, this blog helps bloggers turn pro. ProBlogger has built up so much traffic and earnings, not to mention an awesome online reputation, that it’s hard not to envy this blog if you are a blogger like me! ProBlogger is where I have learned a lot about the blogging industry and the blogosphere, plus I’ve been able to locate quality blogging resources through ProBlogger as well. Recently, I took a step back and some time off from blogging full time because my mother passed away. After some time and thought, I am ready to go full steam towards my dream of creating my own blog network, and making my mother proud. Once again I found myself at the ProBlogger blog; because the founder of ProBlogger is also one of the founders of b5media, one of the biggest blog networks online.
The founder of ProBlogger is Darren Rowse from Australia and he says:
Back in 2002 I stumbled upon an article about ‘Blogging’. I didn’t know it at the time but that moment changed my life. I know that statements like that belong on those cheesy ‘buy my book’ sites (don’t worry I’m not selling anything) but it is actually true. Within 24 hours of reading the article I had started my own Blog - a personal blog where I’ve explored issues of Pop Culture, Spirituality and Blogging ever since. I learnt so much from the experience of that blog that I’ve since started many other blogs.
As my blogs have grown in popularity and have begun to generate income Blogging has grown from a hobby (some would say an obsession), to a part time job through to a fully fledged business in recent times. I have slowly built my blogging into a income source that has enabled me to dedicate more and more time to the medium to the point where I am currently a full time blogger - a ProBlogger.
In 2005 I embarked with three others on the biggest blogging project I’ve ever done - b5media - a blog network that has hundreds of blogs written by hundreds of bloggers from around the world on a wide variety of channels/verticals.
Darren Rowse is a big name in the blog world and many bloggers including myself are big fans of this pro-blogger.

There have been many online reviews and press attention on Darren Rowse and the ProBlogger blog.

I am really jealous of ProBlogger, and I really look up to Darren Rowse for giving others in the blogosphere a helping hand.
